We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 4-bedded Ofsted-regulated children’s home in Marple, Stockport (SK2), supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is an outstanding opportunity for a strong manager to take ownership of a stable, well-established home with 3 children currently in placement, supported by a highly experienced senior leadership team.

? The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

As Registered Manager, you will:

Lead the day-to-day operations of the home

*

Ensure Outstanding standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance

*

Maintain full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 & Quality Standards

*

Lead Ofsted inspections and continuous improvement

*

Build a therapeutic, trauma-informed environment

*

Recruit, develop, and supervise staff

*

Build strong partnerships with local authorities, families, and professionals

*

Drive quality, performance, and positive outcomes

✅ Essential Requirements

*

Previously held Ofsted registration within the last 2 years (children’s residential)

*

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management – Residential Childcare (or working towards)

*

Strong safeguarding & regulatory knowledge

*

Confident leading Ofsted inspections & regulatory compliance

*

Passion for therapeutic, trauma-informed care
