Academics are working with a range of inclusive and welcoming schools seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistant staff for temporary, ongoing roles, with flexibility to suit your schedule.

Position: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing positions
Pay: £88.94 - £100 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, helping them access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential. You may provide 1:1 support for SEN pupils, deliver small group sessions, and contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping children thrive whilst enjoying the flexibility of supply work.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 or small group learning support
* Assist teachers with planning and delivery of tasks
* Promote independence, confidence, and participation
* Support behaviour and emotional regulation where needed
* Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs and support staff

Candidate Requirements

✔ Experience supporting children or young people (school-based desirable)
✔ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
✔ Patient, resilient, and adaptable
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
