We are currently seeking a Qualified Maths Teacher for a full-time job in a SEND School in the West Midlands, working with KS3/KS4 students. This is to work with small groups of students who may have SEMH needs.
To be considered you must have experience working as an Maths Teacher and an expert knowledge of the curriculum. You will have ideally worked with students with challenging additional behavioural needs.
You must be a qualified Maths Teacher (QTS)
Have worked with children with additional learning and behavioural needs
Have UK based Teaching experience
Ideally have worked for at least 12 months in schools
Safeguarding level 1 trained
DBS on the update service
Strong ability with behavioural needs
Knowledge and experience working with Autism, Speech and Language needsThe school is looking for a Maths Teacher
The school is a Secondary SEN setting with students who may display ASD/SEBD/SEMH needs
As such you will need to have a strong curriculum knowledge along with the ability to manage needs, whilst inspiring the students to learn Maths.
You will have worked within a Maths Teaching capacity previously and have exemplary ability to work with students who need some additional guidance and focus to their learning and behaviour.
