About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and knowledgeable Teacher of Economics to join a successful and inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham. This permanent, full-time position is available for an immediate start and is open to both ECTs and experienced teachers.
This role would suit a passionate Economics specialist who is eager to inspire students and contribute positively to a forward-thinking and supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging, high-quality Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5
Develop students' understanding of economic theory and its real-world application
Plan lessons that motivate and challenge learners of all abilities
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with school policies
Work collaboratively within the department and across the wider school community

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or pending qualification
