Teaching Assistant required for a Class-based position
As a successful candidate, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with both children and their families to ensure the best outcomes for our pupils with a passion for early child development.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the Class Teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for our pupils
Developing and implementing strategies to manage challenging behaviour and promote positive behaviour in the classroom
Working closely with parents and carers to ensure that our pupils receive consistent support and care both at home and at school
Supporting the development of individual education plans and tracking pupil progress
Desired Qualifications and Skills:
A qualification in Early Years Education or Nursery Assistant, Support in Teaching and Learning or equivalent
Experience in managing behaviour in young children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to supporting the needs of all pupils
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework and National Curriculum
Passion for early child development and an egarness to learn and support within the classroom
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
