Are you a highly effective and results-oriented Geography Teacher with a passion for ensuring students achieve their full academic potential across all key stages, particularly at A-Level? In this crucial role, with a significant focus on Key Stage 5, you will:

* Maximise Student Achievement: Be instrumental in ensuring excellent student outcomes in Key Stage 3, GCSE, and A-Level Geography, equipping them with the sophisticated analytical, statistical, and evaluative skills required for top university placements and successful careers.

* Lead Engaging Fieldwork: Design and lead impactful fieldwork experiences, leveraging Winchester's proximity to diverse physical and human landscapes (including coastal, urban, and rural environments) to deepen students' understanding and meet A-Level NEA requirements.

* Deliver Engaging and Rigorous Curriculum: Utilise your expertise to deliver well-structured and challenging lessons that align with the demands of the Geography curricula at all key stages, fostering deep understanding of complex geographical theories, environmental systems, and global development issues.

* Motivate and Support Learners: Work with a diverse group of students, fostering their critical understanding of global issues and providing the necessary support to enable them to excel in all aspects of the subject, with a particular emphasis on the independent research and essay-writing demands of A-Level.

* Collaborate within a Strong Humanities Department: Join a supportive and experienced team that shares best practices and works collaboratively to achieve departmental goals, including the successful delivery of a high-quality A-Level Geography program that challenges and excites students.

* Utilise Excellent Resources: Have access to a wide range of geographical data, GIS software, digital resources, and dedicated teaching spaces to enhance your teaching and support student learning in Geography within the Winchester context, especially at Key Stage 5.
