Valenti Recruitment are searching on behalf of our client for a driven, target-focused Business Development Manager to join a leading provider of tailored business mobile solutions for the SME market.

This is a field-based role with regular UK travel to meet clients, backed by excellent earning potential and a full benefits package.

Role Overview

You’ll be responsible for generating new business in the SME sector, presenting tailored mobile packages that save clients money, improve operational efficiency, and deliver flexibility. You’ll manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualifying leads to closing deals and onboarding new clients.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

* Identify and target SME prospects through cold calling, networking, social selling, and referrals

* Build and manage a strong pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets

* Conduct needs analysis to uncover client pain points, usage patterns, and renewal timelines

* Present compelling solutions, proposals, and cost-benefit cases to decision-makers

Account Management & Upselling

* Maintain strong relationships with new clients to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction

* Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell additional services such as data packages, MDM, VoIP, and unified communications

Market Awareness

* Stay up to date with mobile technology, competitor offerings, and industry trends

* Share valuable insights with the sales and product teams

About You

Essential

* Proven track record in B2B sales, within business mobile or telecoms

* A “hunter” mentality with the confidence to win and close new business

* Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

* Ability to engage with senior decision-makers including business owners, directors, and IT managers

* CRM proficiency for pipeline management

* Full UK driving licence

Desirable

* Knowledge of mobile network operators and dealer channels in the UK

* Experience selling related telecoms solutions (fixed line, VoIP, MDM, unified comms)

Performance Measures

* Monthly/quarterly new business revenue achieved

* Number of qualified leads and proposals delivered
