We’re excited to be recruiting for a Customer Support Advisor role with a well-established manufacturing business that supplies specialist packaging solutions across the UK and internationally. If you enjoy speaking with customers, staying organised, and keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes, this could be a fantastic next step for you.
In this role, you’ll be right at the heart of the customer journey—helping customers understand products, processing orders accurately, supporting production and dispatch teams, and making sure everything flows smoothly from enquiry to delivery. It’s a great opportunity for someone who’s proactive, detail-focused, and keen to learn within a growing company.
What you’ll be doing
• Helping customers with product advice and general support
• Processing orders accurately and sending order acknowledgements
• Organising the production and dispatch of product samples
• Producing job sheets, cutting lists and dispatch lists for internal teams
• Collating paperwork ready for invoicing
• Liaising with freight companies
• Resolving customer issues and handling complaints professionally
• Supporting sales initiatives and occasionally joining accompanied sales calls
• Keeping product knowledge up to date (full technical training provided)
• Maintaining strong communication across departments including Sales, Production, Warehouse and Accounts
• Creating written information for customers when needed
• Being proactive with upselling and cross-selling opportunities
What we’re looking for
• At least 1 year’s experience in a customer service role
• Confident using computers and Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills—written and verbal
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Organised, able to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
• Someone proactive, technically minded and eager to learn
• Comfortable making decisions and solving problems
• A friendly, professional approach with a real focus on delivering great service
