Air Freight Operator - Office Based

Location: Middlesbrough

Type: Full-time | Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Freight Operator to join a well-established international freight forwarding business based in Middlesbrough.

This is a hands-on, office-based role managing air freight import and export operations from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end air freight import & export operations
Airline bookings and shipment coordination
Preparing air freight documentation (AWBs, customs paperwork, etc.)
Liaising with airlines, overseas agents and customers
Tracking shipments and resolving issues proactively

Requirements

Proven experience in air freight forwarding (imports &/or exports)
Strong knowledge of air freight processes and documentation
Confident communicator with good organisational skills
