We are searching for a dedicated and outstanding Computing Teacher to join our Technology department in September 2025 on a permanent, full-time basis. This also has the possibility of Head of House Responsibilities.
The Role
To plan and deliver a broad, balanced, relevant and differentiated curriculum for students
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher/form tutor.
To encourage and deliver a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to raising student attainment
Job Requirements
* QTS Qualification
* Excellent knowledge and understanding of national and examination curricular requirements of the subject.
* Excellent knowledge of Computing.
* Established ability to plan lessons with clear objectives to ensure progression for all students
* Established as an effective teacher across Key stage 3/4
* An in-depth understanding and commitment to safeguarding children and young people
* Some experience of successfully teaching to KS3-KS4 students, with a clear understanding of the teaching provision required in secondary schools
* A second Technology subject would be beneficial.
