Hours: 24 hours per week (across 3 days – fixed but flexible to suit the successful candidate) – NO WEEKENDS
Location: Kent – primarily Ashford area, with travel across multiple sites
Salary: Up to £50,000 FTE (pro rata for part-time hours)

Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Clinical Pharmacist to join a growing clinical services team in Kent. This is a part-time position (24 hours per week) delivered across three flexible working days.
You will play a key role in providing expert pharmaceutical care across a portfolio of healthcare sites, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the safe, effective, and patient-centred use of medicines.
Sites Covered
The role will involve travel to a range of healthcare settings, mainly within the Ashford area, including (but not limited to)
Key Responsibilities
* Attend allocated site visits punctually in line with contractual requirements
* Conduct audits, including prescription chart screening for clinical appropriateness
* Undertake medicines management audits to ensure regulatory compliance
* Communicate effectively with on-site staff and become familiar with local policies and procedures
* Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide specialist medicines advice
* Deliver clinical training sessions to healthcare professionals
* Support service development, policy reviews, and implementation of change
* Maintain GPhC registration and practise in line with professional and ethical standards
* Report into and be supported by Senior Clinical Pharmacists
Professional Development
The organisation strongly supports continuous learning and development. Following probation, funding opportunities may be available for:
* Postgraduate Certificate in Psychiatric Therapeutics
* European Certificate in Palliative Care
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
* Master’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent)
* GPhC registration
* Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience
* Full UK driving licence and ability to travel between sites
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Commitment to developing clinical knowledge and achieving clinical excellence
Desirable:
* Hospital experience (community pharmacists with a strong clinical interest are also encouraged to apply)
