SURVEYOR / ESTIMATOR – PROPERTY SERVICES (PERMANENT)

A reputable property services contractor is seeking a Qualified Surveyor/Estimator to join its Property Services Division on a permanent basis. The division specialises in insurance repair and reinstatement works following flood, fire, water escape, storm damage, and building defects across domestic, residential, education, industrial, and commercial sectors.

THE ROLE

You will manage estimating and commercial activities for negotiated and tendered projects, typically £10k–£500k, and measured term/schedule of rates works £20k–£100k. You will work closely with Contracts and Site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare estimates, pricing, and quantities (site & drawings)

*

Submit quotations and negotiate contract sums

*

Produce monthly valuations, invoices, and final accounts

*

Manage subcontract procurement, variations, and payments

*

Maintain project records and attend site meetings

ABOUT YOU

*

Qualified Surveyor/Estimator with strong construction knowledge

*

Experience with JCT contracts and measured term work

*

Good IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

*

Professional qualification preferred

*

Full driving licence

*

Ideally based within 45 minutes of Gloucester (office-based & site travel)
