Buildforce Solutions are recruiting an experienced Senior Site Manager to join a flagship city centre Birmingham project for a leading principal contractor.

This is a challenging and rewarding cut and carve refurbishment of a heritage building, requiring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proven track record in complex structural and civil works within existing environments.

The Project Scope Includes:

Cut and carve works to a listed/heritage structure

*

Steel design coordination and installation into an existing building

*

Civil foundation works and structural alterations

*

Lift foundations within the basement

*

Basement waterproofing and associated enabling works

*

Programme duration of approximately 45 weeks

The Role:

As Senior Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for day-to-day site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage logistics in a constrained city centre location, and liaise closely with the project team and client stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience delivering heritage refurbishment / cut and carve schemes

*

Strong background in structural steel installation and complex civils

*

Ability to manage basement works, waterproofing, and foundation packages

*

Excellent leadership, communication, and programme management skills

*

SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid essential
