Job Title: Nursery Teaching Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes

Contract Type: Full-time – Temp to Perm
Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role:

A nurturing and welcoming nursery in Milton Keynes is looking for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their early years team. This is a fantastic opportunity to support young children’s development in a play-based, child-centred environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher and key workers with daily routines and activities
Engage children in learning through play, stories, songs, and exploration
Foster a warm, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Assist with observations, assessments, and maintaining children’s learning journeys
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
Requirements:

Experience working with children in an early years setting (nursery or preschool)
A caring and patient nature
Relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) preferred but not essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to promoting the welfare and development of young children
