Experienced Teaching Assistant – SEMH School (Full Time, January Start)

We’re looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who is ready to step into a full-time role from January. If you thrive in a nurturing, purposeful environment and love helping young people grow in confidence, independence, and emotional resilience, this could be the perfect fit!
✨ The Role:
Supporting secondary-aged pupils with autism in a specialist SEMH setting
Providing tailored, consistent support in line with individual EHCPs
Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment
Collaborating closely with teaching staff, therapists, and wider support teams
Encouraging pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
✨ Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working in SEN/SEMH settings
Confident supporting young people with autism
Calm, patient, adaptable, and empathetic
Able to build strong, positive relationships
Committed to helping pupils overcome barriers and achieve their best
Available full time from January

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
