Job Title: Production Administrator
Location: Dudley
Salary: £13 - £15 per hour (DOE)
Shift Patterns: Days 07:00 - 16:00 Monday - Friday
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Administrator to join a busy food processing facility, including an Abattoir, working closely with departments across the site to support the development and maintenance of operational procedures.
This is a key position offering the opportunity to be involved in improving and streamlining processes across production, quality, HR, health & safety, and technical teams.
This role will be a Temporary Contract for 2-4 months.
What you'll be doing:
Write, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of job processes
Liaise with Health & Safety, HR, and the Technical Manager to ensure compliance and best practice
Review and check existing processes for accuracy and effectiveness
Support continuous improvement projects and ensure documentation is accurate and up to date
Maintain clear records and files relating to operational procedures
Communicate effectively with staff across all levels of the business
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within the food manufacturing, manufacturing or processing industry.
Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
Ability to liaise confidently with multiple departments
Experience writing SOPs or process documentation is highly desirable
Organised, proactive, and able to work independently
Comfortable working within an environment that includes an abattoir
