About the Role:

Our client are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join their dynamic team, working on a prestigious high-end residential development in Portsmouth. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and manage cost estimates, budgets, and tenders

Oversee procurement and manage subcontractor packages

*

Conduct valuations and manage interim applications

*

Monitor project costs and prepare financial reports

*

Ensure compliance with contract conditions and legal requirements

*

Liaise closely with project managers, architects, and contractors to ensure quality and cost-effective delivery

About You:

*

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

*

Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential construction (high-end/luxury projects a bonus)

*

Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail

*

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

*

Proficient in relevant software

*

Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
