We are seeking a Newly Qualified Criminal Defence Solicitor. This is an exceptional opportunity for an NQ solicitor eager to gain comprehensive court experience, particularly in magistrates’ court advocacy, within a busy and supportive practice. You will be actively involved in all aspects of criminal defence work, including case preparation, client care, police station work, and regular court attendance.

About You

Newly qualified solicitor with a genuine ambition / passion to specialise in criminal law
Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop a strong court presence
Some prior criminal law experience preferred (training contract, paralegal, or support roles), but passion and potential are key
Comfortable working within a traditional, structured law firm environment
