The Job

As a Store Manager, candidates can expect both a position with considerable challenges and a high degree of commercial autonomy. Tasked across a full range of operational KPI’s , store managers are expected to maximise sales through effective staff distribution and service standards as well as ensuring correct stock packages and a commercial store layout. Stores for this company are large, high turnover environments with considerable challenges around health and safety and compliance and require Store Managers comfortable controlling a business to manage lead and motivate a team of junior managers and their subordinates.

The Candidate

Suitable candidates will need a depth of retail Store or Assistant Store Management experience gained within a retail business. Your experience can be from Department or Chain Stores, or the high street or out of town or you may have management experience from other service led retail businesses where commerciality and customer service are key. Crucially you will possess a rounded management style, be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, and be adept at spotting commercial opportunity and reacting to the needs of your customers.
