Mechanical Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established manufacturer of bespoke material handling machinery based in the Skelmersdale area, who are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Mechanical Design Engineer Job Overview

Design and development of new and existing products.
Understanding and interpreting customer requirements.
Creating and developing 3D modelling drawings with the use of Solidworks for manufacturing & fabrication drawings
Producing FEA & hand calculations for projects
Creating BoM's and other technical documents
Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements

Proficient in the use of Solidworks
3+ years of Mechanical Design experience with machinery design
Strong communication skills
Based in a commutable distance of Skelmersdale

Salary £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience
Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 16:30. Friday 08:00 - 15:30. Permanent position.
