A reputable civils and construction firm have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join the team as a Mobile Plant Fitter, working directly with their workshop team to ensure their fleet of vehicles and plant equipment stays maintained and mobile across the South West. This new role comes at an exciting time for the company and they are looking for a Mobile Plant Fitter to work in Cornwall and another to work in Devon. The normal hours will be between 8am - 5pm and a working week will run between Monday-friday, and will be across a region of the southwest. You will receive callouts for repairs, and attend the site wherever the breakdown has occured.
 
Your responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mobile plant equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate repair schedules and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and parts used.
Adhere to safety regulations and best practices while working on-site.
Provide technical support and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
