About the Role:
We’re looking for an experienced and dependable professional to take ownership of our portfolio company reporting and fund-level modelling processes. This part-time (3 days/week) role will begin with on-site onboarding and training during the first three months, transitioning to a flexible remote/hybrid arrangement thereafter.
The role is focused on supporting LP reporting, ensuring data accuracy, and driving the preparation of key outputs for investors.
You’ll be working with a portfolio of private companies across the UK and EMEA, primarily consisting of minority equity stakes in early- and growth-stage businesses. These are venture capital-style assets - illiquid, high-growth, and often complex in structure - so a strong understanding of performance metrics and investor expectations in this space is essential.
You’ll be expected to hit the ground running - comfortable working with financial models, consolidating portfolio company data, and supporting internal and external reporting deadlines with minimal oversight.
Fund Reporting Lead - Responsibilities:
* Maintain and update portfolio company metrics across internal tracking models and reporting templates
* Support fund-level modelling, including capital account updates, valuations, and performance metrics (TVPI, DPI, IRR)
* Drive quarterly and ad-hoc LP reporting processes with attention to accuracy, consistency, and timelines
* Work with data from private minority investments in venture-style companies across UK and EMEA regions
* Identify data gaps, anomalies, or inconsistencies and proactively work with the team to resolve them
* Produce investor-ready materials and reports as needed
* Collaborate with investment and finance teams to ensure reporting aligns with internal frameworks and LP expectations
Fund Reporting Lead - Requirements:
* 3+ years of relevant experience in fund operations, finance, investor reporting, or portfolio monitoring (e.g., private equity, venture capital, family office, fund admin, or similar)
* Strong Excel skills, including comfort with formulas, data manipulation, and working within existing models
* Proven ability to manage data-heavy tasks with a high level of accuracy and minimal supervision
* Familiarity with financial and performance metrics common to funds (e.g., IRR, MOIC, NAV)
* Experience working with private, illiquid assets - ideally venture-backed companies or minority equity investments
* Ability to quickly grasp internal reporting structures and adapt to evolving needs
* Excellent communication skills, especially in remote and asynchronous environments
* High degree of discretion and professionalism when working with sensitive data
Fund Reporting Lead - Nice to Have:
* Experience producing LP reports or working directly with fund administrators or auditors
* Exposure to fund structuring, cap tables, or investment monitoring tools/platforms
Details:
* Part-time: ~3 days/week (flexible hours)
* Hybrid: On-site training during the first 3 months, then remote
* Competitive compensation, commensurate with experience
