A thriving and supportive secondary school in Bedford is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Science to join their team from January 2026, on a permanent contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a school with a strong focus on delivering high-quality teaching and learning in a well-resourced Science department. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5 for suitable applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
Inspire a love of Science and foster a culture of curiosity and achievement.
Monitor and assess student progress to ensure all learners achieve their potential.
Contribute to departmental planning, resource development, and enrichment activities.
Work collaboratively within a supportive and experienced Science team.
