Job Title: Carpentry / Woodwork Tutor Trainer (Trainee or Qualified)

Location: York (Centre based)

Salary: up to £32,000 (Depending on skills and experience) 

Type: Full Time, Permanent

Essential Criteria:

Must hold your own Level 3 NVQ in Site Carpentry, Construction or similar.
Must hold solid occupational competency within Carpentry. 
Confident and comfortable to deliver theory and practical based sessions to learners.
Experience of delivering on-the-job training to colleagues is highly desirable.
Must be IT Literate.Duties include:

Teach/assess learners working towards a Level 3 qualification in Site Carpentry.
Embedding of Maths, English and Digital Literacy.
Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills knowledge and behaviours
Monitor student attendance and progress through regular student assessment and reviews.
Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.Personal Skills:

Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively
Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people
Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learnersPlease note:
