Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operation of the care service facility, including staffing, scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery.
Ensure the provision of high-quality, person-centered care and support in accordance with regulatory requirements, care standards, and best practices.
Implement policies, procedures, and protocols to promote efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement in service delivery.
Leadership and Staff Management:
Provide strong leadership and direction to a multidisciplinary team of care staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning.
Recruit, train, supervise, and appraise staff members, ensuring adequate staffing levels, competence, and adherence to professional standards and code of conduct.
Support and empower staff to deliver personalized care, develop their skills, and fulfill their potential through ongoing training, supervision, and professional development opportunities.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and other regulatory bodies.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and reviews to assess and maintain the quality and safety of care services, premises, equipment, and documentation.
Implement corrective actions and improvement plans in response to audit findings, complaints, incidents, and feedback from service users, families, and stakeholders.
Person-Centered Care and Support:
Promote a culture of dignity, respect, and empowerment, ensuring that service users' individual needs, preferences, and rights are recognized, valued, and met.
Collaborate with service users, families, advocates, and healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans, goals, and outcomes that reflect their choices, aspirations, and capabilities.
Monitor the effectiveness of care plans, interventions, and support strategies, making adjustments as necessary to optimize outcomes and enhance quality of life.
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with service users, families, staff members, external agencies, and regulatory bodies, ensuring transparency, openness, and accountability.
Act as a key point of contact for enquiries, concerns, and feedback from stakeholders, responding promptly and appropriately to address their needs and expectations.
Represent the care service facility in professional networks, forums, and partnerships, advocating for the rights and interests of service users and promoting best practices in care provision.

Registered Manager qualification (RMA, NVQ Level 5, or equivalent) is essential.
CQC Registered Manager status is mandatory.
Significant experience in a managerial role within the health and social care sector, preferably in a similar setting.
Comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and standards governing the provision of care services in the UK.

Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance.
Mandatory training in safeguarding adults, mental capacity, and deprivation of liberty safeguards
