Job Vacancy: Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Sheffield S5

About the Role:

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils’ learning across a range of abilities. You’ll play a vital role in helping children reach their full potential, whether in small groups, one-to-one, or within the classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education
Support pupils with a range of needs, including those with SEND
Provide one-to-one or small group interventions
Help to create a stimulating, safe and nurturing learning environment
Monitor and record pupil progress in collaboration with teaching staff
We’re Looking For:

A qualified Teaching Assistant with a Level 2 Certificate or equivalent
Previous experience working in a primary or secondary setting
A caring, patient and proactive attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
