RADAAS Ltd is supporting Plymouth City Council in recruiting compassionate and reliable Passenger Assistants to help children and young people—many with additional needs—travel safely to and from their educational settings.

You’ll be part of the Home-to-School transport service, supporting over 1,000 students aged 4–25 using minibuses and taxis.This is a rewarding, term-time role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with children, returning to work after a break, or partially retired candidates seeking meaningful part-time hours.

? What You’ll Be Doing

Ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of students during travel.

*

Providing cover for other Passenger Assistants when required.

*

Working closely with drivers, schools, and Council teams to ensure smooth journeys.

*

Supporting children and young adults, including those with SEND needs.

⏰ When You’ll Work

Monday to Friday

*

Usual times: 07:00–10:00 and 14:00–17:00

*

Term-time only

*

Hours vary depending on route length and cover required (advertised 10 hrs/week, but may increase or decrease).

You will be picked up and dropped off at home before and after routes.

PAYE: £12.65 per hour
