Service Administrator
Location: Bedford
Job Type: Hybrid, Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £14.50 - £15
Our client, a leading organisation in the technical services sector, is looking for a proactive Service Administrator to support scheduling, customer communication, and service administration. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes ownership of their work.
Working hours:
Work Pattern: Hybrid
Mon - Wed: In office
Thu - Fri: Work from home
Training Period (now until end of Dec):
Part-time: Mon - Weds, 8.00am - 5.00pm
From January:
Full-time: Mon - Thu: 8.00am - 5.00pm & Fri: 8.00am - 12.45pm
Key Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls and schedule engineer jobs/callouts via the CLIK CRM (same-day scheduling).
Track and update all job statuses, ensuring completed jobs are closed within 5 working days.
Prepare quotations and proactively follow up (no quote older than 60 days).
Raise sales orders upon receipt of purchase orders.
Maintain up-to-date contact lists and track instrument status.
Liaise with engineers and team leaders on outstanding jobs and monthly reporting.
Produce monthly invoices and chase outstanding purchase orders.
Support contract management and provide weekly/monthly admin metrics.
Carry out general office duties and provide cover during colleague absence.
Requirements:
Positive, energetic approach and strong communication skills.
Team-focused with good self-awareness and resilience under pressure.
Flexible, open to change, and confident managing multiple tasks.
Experience in scheduling or service administration is beneficial (CLIK CRM a bonus).
