Job Description:

We are currently looking for a teacher to work within a special educational needs school full time from September 2025.

This role is working in a school based in Gloucester and has pupils from KS1 and KS2. The children have access to lessons in English, Maths, Science, ICT, PHSE, ART, PE and creatvie topics. Thehy are also offered play therapy for support if needed.

The school is set up to provide a nurtering enviroment where pupils can flourish away from mainstream school.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach the children the curriculum, planning all classroom lessons.
Be able to adapt lesson plans to work with different children needs and abilities.
Provide feedback to parents and other third party teams when needed
Managing behaviour and maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphereRequirements:

You must have a relevant teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS etc)
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Experience working with SEN children
A positive and compassionate attitude towards students
A valid right to work in the UK
