The Role - Assistant Accountant

You'll be instrumental in supporting the commercial finance function, with responsibilities including:

Produce insightful financial and performance reports to support the success of ongoing projects.
Analyse contract profitability, track income and expenditure, highlight variances, and support financial forecasting.
Provide accurate data and analysis to support senior management, auditors, and external parties.
Prepare scheduled reports and respond to ad hoc requests for commercial and financial information.
Manage the end-to-end commercial contract process, including onboarding new contracts and compliance. Work closely with internal stakeholders.
Maintain the integrity of financial data, ensuring information is recorded accurately in the finance system.
Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely and accurate input.
Work closely with the billing team to ensure invoices are raised accurately and on schedule.
Monitor payment cycles and support the credit control process to ensure income is collected promptly.What We're Looking For

Actively working towards (ACCA / CIMA)
Excellent Excel skills
Previous experience in a finance position
Detail-oriented, and able to manage your workload independently
