Vision Teaching are working with a Richmond-based school as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant and support children with diverse learning needs to reach their full potential.
About the SEN TA role:
As a vital member of our team, the SEN TA will work closely with teachers and specialists to provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs. You will help create an inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key responsibilities for the SEN TA:
Deliver one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN
Assist in implementing individual education plans (IEPs)
Encourage independence and confidence in learners
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals
Who we are looking for in a SEN TA:
Experience or strong interest in SEN support is essential
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills as a SEN TA
Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
A relevant qualification or willingness to undertake SEN TA training
