OUR CLIENT

Is a leading manufacturer with an impressive manufacturing facility in the Newbury area and a requirement for a Shift Manager to run the manufacturing on a continental shift pattern. This role will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to really make their mark on raising standards across the board in a business which has a successful track record in its sector.

THE ROLE

The role will suit Shift Managers who recognise “what good looks like” and have a clear understanding of manufacturing principles including SQCDP, people development and lean activities. This understanding is important because a huge amount of work will be focussed on raising standards and targets that will be clear to the shop floor and enable performance improvement. In addition to a good technical understanding of manufacturing principles it is also of equal importance that you can engage the staff, motivate them and inject fun into manufacturing with a competitive edge.

THE PERSON

You will be a confident and experienced Production Shift Manager who has a positive approach and really thrives on making production lines run sweetly. You must be comfortable dealing with potentially difficult situations with a constructive outcome and be consistent, positive and energetic in your approach
