A highly respected Door Industry provider has a newly created opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join the business. The business has been established for over 25 years and are still today a highly respected name in industry. As a sales professional this is a huge benefit when approaching businesses and you will be a key contributor to the future growth of business. Applicants do not need to have worked within the Door Industry but will require selling expertise in the service or engineering field. They are offering a highly competitive basic salary circa to £35k to £40k with OTE circa to £50k, hybrid working available, additional Christmas bonus and much more.
Summary:
The Business Development Managers position will be office based with the occasional travel to customer sites, offering a hybrid model once probation has been passed and training has been received.
Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
Able to identify and target specific business sectors/geographical areas
Networking - Building Relationships with Clients
Identify requirements for service contracts
Cold Calling a variety of businesses, selling service contracts to new customers
Produce professional service contract quotations and submit
Follow up on all quotes in a timely manner Requirements of the Business Development Manager
Time served sales professional within a B2B sales position
Preferably have worked in the service industry (Lifts, MHE, Doors, Cranes etc.), however other engineering industries considered.
A very confident communicator and highly comfortable with cold calling companies
Can show evidence of success in sales, achieving financial targets
Expertly handle customer expectations.In return they offer an impressive salary and benefits package
Salary circa to £35k to £40k
OTE circa to £50k with achievable targets set. Uncapped
Working hours from 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available
Additional Bonus paid to all employees at Christmas time.
