Commissioning Engineer - Capital Machinery & Process Systems for High-Regulation & Safety Critical Sectors
Location: Wolverhampton (both Site AND Commissioning Location) | Full-Time | Permanent

We're looking for a skilled and motivated CommissioningEngineer (Electrical-bias) to join a dynamic Commissioning Team, working for a Wolverhampton-based Global Engineering Innovator who design & manufacture bespoke Capital Machinery & Process Systems for High-Regulation & Safety Critical Sectors.

What You'll Do:
As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
Delivering commissioning activities (STW, FAT, SAT) to the highest standards of project-based Mechanical Handling, Machinery & Process Systems (incl. documentation)
Developing and implementing project commissioning strategies.
Supporting tendering processes and project managers with technical insights and cost/time impact assessments.
Ensuring compliance with UK and European H&S legislation and technical standards.
Collaborating across engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimise processes.
What We're Looking For:
HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering (ideally Electrically-biased)
Strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering
Experience in commissioning and managing engineering teams for commissioning projects
Maintenance, Commissioning, Field or Test background with experience of commissioning process systems, capital machinery, mechanical handling equipment etc
Familiarity with British and European technical standards.
CSCS card holder
Detail-oriented, conscientious, and solutions-focused.

Wolverhampton-based (site & commissioning location) with occassional travel
Starting Salary up to £52k (DoE)
Pension
37 Hour Working Week with Flexible Working
25 days annual leave + stats + holiday buy & sell scheme + ability to accrue additional days (up to 5) though overtime worked
