Job Title: Building Surveyor

Location: Dudley

Contract: Temporary, 6 Months initially.

Role Summary:

Ensuring that we remain compliant within the handing of Disrepair Claims and legal regulatory standards within the sector whilst ensuring that cost savings are kept to a minimum for the business, The role will cover a variety of duties and will include the Handling of Solicitor claims made by tenants within the Housing Repairs Team. You will work as part of a small team with some but not exclusive to the duties listed below.

You will need to hold a valid qualification within repairs & maintenance and have an excellent understanding of repair work within tenanted properties. Working within the disrepair sector would be advantageous but training can be provided

Some of the duties will include :

Liaising with team members, customers, contractors and senior management team on a daily basis.
Site visits to assess works required in order to handle the claim
Reporting of detailed Scott Schedules for every properties as well as completing a schedule of works.
