Freelance Site Manager – New Build Housing

Location: Middlesbrough

Contract: Freelance | Holiday Cover

Rate: £280-£300 per day

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day site management, ensuring work is carried out safely, on time, and to specification.

Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.

Liaising with project managers, architects, and inspectors.

Maintaining high standards of health & safety and quality control.

Keeping accurate records of site progress and reporting regularly.

Requirements:

Proven experience managing new build housing projects.

SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid certifications.

Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and quality standards effectively.

Knowledge of building regulations and NHBC standards
