£29,000-£31,200 per annum DOE

Job Description:

Workforce currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Setter for a company specializing in manufacturing products for the Architectural sector.

The Press Brake Setter will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal sheets according to specifications. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing top-quality products.

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate press brake machinery to bend, shape, and form metal sheets.

Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job orders to determine appropriate specifications.

Select and install appropriate tooling and dies based on job requirements.

Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

Make adjustments to machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and precision.

Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specifications.

Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Press Brake Setter working with Estronic and AMADA.

Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings, and job orders.

Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of press brake machinery.

Ability to set up and operate press brake machinery effectively.

Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Solid understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
