Job Description

Responsible for the operational management of the Tool Room within the business, including the development of new Mould tools and the performance and maintenance of Mould tools in production.
Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice tool room vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Identify business improvement opportunities within the organisation.
Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and review and communicate the impact on Tool Room activities.
As the Manager of the Toolroom department it will be critical that the successful candidate has excellent management and interpersonal skills, is prepared to step in and support the team as and when required. Building a team with the right skill sets will be a crucial part of this role.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Strong experience in a similar toolroom engineer or toolmaker roleSignificant proven management experience (5 years +)

Understanding of injection moulding and knowledge of mould tools
