Level 2 Teaching Assistant - Primary & Secondary Support - Daventry

Tradewind Recruitment is looking for dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistants to support primary and secondary-aged pupils in schools across Daventry.

Whether you're assisting a Year 2 pupil with phonics or supporting a Year 9 student during a science lesson, your role will be crucial in helping students stay engaged, supported, and on track.

You'll work alongside class teachers and SEN teams to create a positive and productive learning environment, offering both academic and emotional support to pupils of all abilities - including those with special educational needs (SEN).

Your role will include:

Providing 1:1 and small group support within the classroom.

Assisting with lesson preparation and behaviour management.

Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including those with EHCPs.

Helping to create an inclusive, safe, and engaging environment.

Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to teaching staff.

Requirements:

Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Previous experience supporting children in an educational setting.

A proactive, caring, and flexible approach.

Strong communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
