£18.13 to £23.52 per hour Depending on experience & shift pattern
Days & Nights plus overtime available
An opportunity to join an exciting organisation as a CNC Miller (Large Gantry Milling Machines).
Candidates will be time served CNC Machinists through a recognised mechanical engineering apprenticeship with experience on large gantry milling machines.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for ensuring the machine schedule is completed within the required timescales and to the correct drawing specifications
Work methodically through tasks whilst ensuring quality is not compromised
Follow quality policies and procedures
Highlight any quality or production issues to supervision
Maintain product traceability
Prepare and load materials on machines
Maximise machine utilisation with minimum downtime
Multiple machine running when requested
Mentor apprentices and colleagues when requested
Comply with all health and safety requirementsQualifications, Skills and Experience:

Time served CNC Miller/Machinist
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to understand and interpret geometrical tolerances
Familiar with Siemens 840 / Mazatrol controls
Competent working to and maintaining tight tolerances
Competent lifting heavy components
Experience of machining large fabricationsCompetitive remuneration package offered.
