Supply Heroes are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Cover Supervisor to join a fantastic Primary School in Handsworth Wood. As a Educator you will work in a collaborative hybrid role where you will be delivering work in Year 2 in line with the National Curriculum. You may also need to provide cover in various other year groups. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and help them reach their full potential as well as a great opportunity for a Educator to progress into a Teacher with QTS. This role is well suited to a ECT who is seeking a role where you can gain more experience in preparation for a permanent teaching position in the near future. This role is also suitable for a HLTA or experienced teaching Assistant who has experience of teaching in Primary.

Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with students, teachers, and parents to ensure a collaborative learning environment
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons, adapting materials as needed for individual students
- Support students with autism or special education needs in their academic and social development
- Implement behavior management strategies and promote positive behavior within the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and provide feedback on areas of improvement
- Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources

Requirements:

- Evidence of teaching or supportive teaching

-Confidence to teach in a classroom setting.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping others succeed
- Qualification or relevant degree in education or related field is preferred
