Multi-Skilled Engineer – Food Packaging

Salary: £50,000 + Pension + Bens

Shift Pattern: 4 on 3 off (2 days 2 nights 12hr shifts)

The Company

An excellent opportunity has arisen with one of the UK’s leading privately owned food manufacturers, a growing and supportive organisation. The Company is part of a well established group with over 60 years of manufacturing experience, and deal with the major multiples in the UK. They are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share. This will be an excellent opportunity for someone to take on a new challenge, with training and development on offer, leading to excellent career prospects.

You will have served a minimum of a full apprenticeship in electrical engineering and have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules, project based work within a high speed automated environment. The candidate will be working on the whole site such as covering work on the powder plant, butter plant and the skim plant.

KEY SKILLS

* Apprentice Trained Engineer in Electrical

* Experience of PLC systems & Automated machinery

* Understanding of PPM systems

The ideal candidate will also have experience of PLC systems as they have a variety of PLC controlled equipment on site and the ability to work within a team or autonomously as required. You will also have a strong multi-skilled background with the ability to fault find on a variety of production equipment. There will be a great deal of technical development, which will aid your longer term career prospects within this instantly recognisable group.

There is a huge amount of training on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
