Building Surveyor

We’re recruiting an experienced Surveyor to join a busy Property Services team, delivering high‑quality repairs, voids, planned maintenance, and cyclical works across a diverse housing portfolio.

The Role

* Manage damp and mould, responsive repairs, voids, planned and cyclical programmes from initial inspection through to completion.

* Carry out surveys, diagnose building defects, raise work orders and manage contractors on site.

* Complete pre‑ and post‑inspections to ensure quality, value for money and KPI compliance.

* Monitor budgets, process invoices, and support with complaints, disrepair, and insurance cases.

* Provide technical advice to residents and internal staff, ensuring excellent customer service.

* Maintain accurate records, trackers and compliance documentation, including gas, electrical, asbestos and EPC requirements.

What We’re Looking For

* Experience in property surveying, maintenance, repairs or building pathology.

* Strong technical knowledge and the ability to manage contractors effectively.

* Excellent communication and customer-facing skills.

* Confident with diagnostics, scheduling, compliance and IT systems.

* Proactive, organised and able to manage a varied caseload
