Onpoint Care Recruitment is expanding our specialist education division, and we’re seeking exceptional SEN, SEND, SEMH, and PRU Teachers to join our ad‑hoc and short‑notice supply pool across East Sussex.

We work with a wide range of specialist schools, alternative provisions, and PRUs that rely on us for same‑day cover, short‑term assignments, long‑term placements, and flexible ongoing support. What You’ll Be Doing

As an Onpoint specialist teacher, you will:

* Deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with diverse needs

* Support learners with EHCPs, behavioural challenges, or complex learning barriers

* Create safe, structured, and nurturing learning environments

* Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and leadership teams

* Adapt quickly to new settings and build positive relationships with pupils

* Maintain high standards of safeguarding, professionalism, and behaviour management

We’re Looking For Teachers With

* QTS or QTLS (essential)

* Experience in SEN, SEND, SEMH, or PRU environments

* Strong behaviour management and de‑escalation skills

* A calm, compassionate, and adaptable approach

* A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable or high‑needs learners

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
