Resident Liaison Officer – Social Housing (Kitchen Refurbishment)

Salary: £30,000 + 20% bonus + £4,200 car allowance (car must be ≤6 years old)
This is not negotiable: you must have proven Resident Liaison experience within occupied social housing. If you don’t, this role won’t be suitable.
We’re recruiting a Resident Liaison Officer for a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen refurbishment programme in tenanted properties. You’ll be the front face of the project—managing residents, coordinating surveys with kitchen suppliers, and keeping works running smoothly on live sites.
Resident Liaison Officer: The role
* Act as the main point of contact for residents before, during, and after works
* Carry out pre-start visits, explain scopes, programmes, and access requirements
* Liaise closely with site teams managing up to 15 trades on site at once
* Coordinate kitchen surveys with suppliers and resolve access issues
* Handle complaints and sensitive situations professionally and calmly
* Balance time between site, office, and allocated remote afternoons for resident calls and admin
Essential experience
* Resident Liaison Officer experience within occupied social housing
* Confident managing residents face-to-face in live environments
* Strong organisation and communication skills
* Comfortable working at pace on multiple properties
* Full UK driving licence + compliant vehicle
Resident Liaison Officer: Ideal background
* Based in Bristol, North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, or Newport
* Used to daily travel between site and office
* Calm, professional, and resilient
This is a visible, hands-on role on a busy contract—ideal for someone who knows social housing, understands residents, and can keep control when sites are moving fast.
