Location: Halifax, West Yorkshire
Salary: £16 per hour

Working Hours: 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Thursday, 7am – 1pm Friday

Job Description:

The Setter / Operator will be responsible for setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-precision components to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

* Setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Ensuring components are produced to drawing tolerances and quality standards

* Loading programs, setting tools, and making offsets

* Performing basic inspection using measuring equipment

* Working closely with production and engineering teams

* Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

This Setter / Operator role offers a stable and consistent workload within a clean and professional workshop.

Skills & Experience:

To be successful in this Setter / Operator role, you should have:

* Experience as a CNC Setter / Operator

* Experience setting and operating CNC milling machines

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Experience using standard inspection equipment

* Knowledge of Heidenhain controls is advantageous
