Location: Hull
Hours: 39hrs - 7:30 – 4:30 Mon-Thurs/ 7:30- 12:30 Fri
Salary: £35k

We are seeking a CAD Estimator & Programmer to join the team. In this role, you will create accurate cost estimates for manufacturing processes, analyse specifications and drawings, and support new and existing projects from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and quote new and existing opportunities with precision.
* Collaborate with suppliers to obtain material, subcontract, and tooling costs.
* Develop components and assemblies using industry-standard software.
* Create detailed BOMs, routes, and production packs on our ERP system.
* Provide ongoing support to customers and production teams throughout the manufacturing process.
* Generate nesting programs for punch and laser machines and produce dimensional drawings when required.
* Assist with quality assurance by supporting measurement and FAI reporting.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Engineering apprenticeship, formal engineering qualification, or relevant industry experience.
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
* Comprehensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and machine tools.
* Experience with ERP/MRP systems and estimating software—Amada software knowledge is a plus!
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines with precision.
* A keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
