Role Overview

Support the commercial management of social housing maintenance works, operating within schedule of rates contracts. The role involves cost control, valuations, variations and subcontractor support across high-volume works.

Key Duties

*

Assist with valuations and payments under schedule of rates (must have a good knowledge of this )

*

Support cost tracking, forecasts and monthly reporting

*

Measure works and assess variations

*

Assist with subcontractor procurement and applications

*

Liaise with site teams and operational staff

*

Maintain accurate commercial records

Requirements

*

Experience in a Trainee / Assistant QS or commercial role

*

Understanding of cost control and valuations

*

Good Excel skills and attention to detail

*

Willingness to learn schedule of rates

*

QS qualification (studying or completed) desirable
