Mobile Maintenance Engineer (M&E) – Berkshire & Hampshire – £39,500

Location: Slough, Reading, Basingstoke, Maidenhead
Salary: up to £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 (1/12 call-out)

About the Role

We’re currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a leading building maintenance provider, covering a portfolio of commercial sites across Berkshire and Hampshire.

This is a mobile role carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites, working independently while maintaining high service standards for clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance on building services systems across commercial properties.

* Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency call-outs within the region.

* Fault-finding and carrying out repairs on electrical and/or mechanical plant and equipment.

* Complete maintenance documentation and ensure accurate site records are maintained.

* Ensure all works are completed in compliance with health & safety regulations.

* Liaise professionally with clients and site contacts.

About You as the Mobile Maintenance Engineer

* City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

* Proven experience within a mobile or commercial maintenance environment.

* Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

* Ability to work independently and manage a mobile workload.

* Full UK driving licence.

* Good communication and customer-facing skills.
