They have a vacancy for a Structural Engineer in their successful team in London, where you will deliver high quality design.

Their project workload is varied up to £70m in value and can include schemes such as theatre extensions, London residential schemes & tower blocks, industrial unit refurbishments and residential developments.

Role and Responsibilities

Conduct analysis and prepare design calculations, drawings, and reports with minimal supervision from a Senior Engineer, ensuring they are ready for review by other team members
Design using various engineering materials such as concrete, steel, masonry, timber, as well as soils, foundations, and drainage systems
Apply relevant design codes, including Eurocodes, British Standards, and CDM Regulations
Support Senior Engineers throughout project design phases, from initiation to completion
Perform thorough site investigations, inspections, and resolve any issues that arise
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and other construction professionals
Attend site and client meetings and engage with clients and other professionals
Ensure clear communication regarding structural safety and stay informed on industry updates

Current software : AutoCAD, Tekla, and Revit proficiency

Qualifications

BEng/MEng or equivalent degree in Civil Engineering (or related field)
